CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE

The Christchurch Press Company, Ltd, .takes every care with advertisements offered for publieafeon in “The Press" but is not responsible for wrong classifica-non-insertions or early insertion because of accident or otherwise. The ; company reserves the right to alter, abbreviate or omit advertisements received and paid for in the normal course of business if they contravene or appear, to contravene the law, if they appear to be objectionable or for any ether reason. Telephoning, or forwarding an order; whether on the company’s advertising’form or not, shall be dtaned to bfe . acceptance of these conditions. Persons teleInning advertisements may be given approximate quotations of cost only, and such quotations are in no way binding. Advertisements are classified under the headings to which the company believes they belong and for the convenience of readers. If, in the opinion of the company, advertisements do not meet this requirement they may be placed in what is regarded as their appropriate classification. The Press Company will not be responsible for more than one incorrect insertion of any advertisement ordered for more than, onei'time. ( Nd credits will be given for telephoned advertisements which have appeared incorrectly in “Tht Press" unless we are notified Within 48 hours of the date.of insertion.' : Every advertisement must carry the name and address of the person ; authorising publication. Engagement and marriage notices must be. signed by the two persons Concerned, a parent or some Acceptable person must sign birth notices, and death and in rdtooriam notices must be signed br transmitted by some acceptable person.
