PA Wellington The value of New Zealand’s Overseas Terms of Trade Index for the March, 1983, quarter (base — 100, December, 1957, year) was a provisional 72, says the Statistics Department. The Import Price Index increased by 1.3 per cent in the quarter for a 9.8 per cent gain in the March year. The Export Price Index declined 1.1 per cent in the quarter with an annual movement of plus 2.2 per cent.
