Rugby on TV
Sir,—l am a school-girl and have to go to bed reasonably early. I enjoy watching sport and find it totally impracticable to have to wait up until half past ten to 11 o’clock to watch rugby highlights of the Lions tour. I feel it is bad enough that the whole game is not broadcast; but to have highlights so late is utterly ridiculous. I am sure that more than 80 per cent of New Zealand’s population have watched at least one of the Lions games and at least 50 per cent have been following the games, so I am sure others would agree with me that the rugby highlights should not be on as late as they are. — Yours, etc.,
HELEN MacDONALD. May 25, 1983.
