Reverie Lass, which set a track record over a mile at Ashburton in February with an easy win in 2min 0.65, will do her future racing in North America.
The speedy daughter of Individual and Gay Reverie (by Lumber Dream), showed much promise this season for her Ashburton owners, Mr and Mrs John Elms. '
A diminutive four-year-old, Reverie Lass started 21 times for six wins (including a dead-heat) and six placings, in this, her debut season.
Reverie Lass was purchased at the week-end by the Southland buyers, Geoff Gibson-Smith and | D® 3
Baynes, and will leave with five other purchases for Chicago next Saturday.
Also on the flight will be Ata Lord (C 6 Gold Rush (C 4 Dover Girl (Cl), and the maidens, Nardinson, a four-year-old Nardin’s Byrd gelding placed at his only two appearances, and Nordel Simon, a four-year-old brother to Nordel Tryax (Nordel Skipper—Nellie Tryax), which ,has a Imin 58s record in the United States. Nor t del Simon qualified in 3min 8s (2400 m mobile).
The pacers will be accompanied on the flight by Gibson-Smith, who will prepare them for racing.
