A CHRISTCHURCH CITY COUNCIL STOPPING OF PORTION OF FARADAY STREET PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Sections 319(h) and 342(1) (a) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Christchurch City Council has resolved to stop that portion of Faraday Street described in the Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE Portion of Faraday Street being all that parcel of land situated in the City of Christchurch and described as follows: Area: 902 sq m; Shown as: A; Survey Office Plan: SO 15846; Adjoining Land; Lots 2 and 3 D.P. 7858 Pt’s R 5.238 Lot 1 D.P. 8448 Lot 2 D.P. 22815 Pt Lots 1 and 2 D.P. 8260, RS 41528 and Lots 1 and 2 D.P. 6206. The portion of legal road to be stopped is situated at the western and of Faraday Street and is 89.69 metres in length, and is for the total width. The length of legal road (Faraday Street) to remain from Colombo Street is 44.70 metres. It is proposed to amalgamate the portion of stopped road with the adjoining land which is held by the Christchurch City Council for “Works Yard.” The abbvementioned plan may be inspected during normal office hours at the Design Division of the City Works and Planning Department, Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street. Submissions or objections to this proposal and whether or not the objector wishes to be heard at a hearing must be lodged in writing, at the office ot the Christchurch City Council, Civic Offices, 163 Tuam Street, or posted to P.O.
