HOW TO DINE ON EXPENSIVE CRAYFISH WITHOUT PAYING FOR IT PETER SKIPPERS A LUXURY launch called Sunbird, operating from Plcton to all the peaceful islands, scenic coves and bays of the Marlborough Sounds. He enjoys diving for crayfish but unfortunately is allergic to their delicate white meat. Since he can’t eat the spiny red devils himself, the crays become a free meal for the six lucky passengers that take the seven day cruise that sails on demand throughout the year. Even winter cruises are delightful, for although the nights are cooler the days are usually bright and sunny. (The boat has two heating systems to keep you cosy at night). Apart from crayfish you’ll dine on steaks and other good cooking, including Margaret’s special wholemeal bread that’s baked fresh on board. Whilst on the seven day cruise you can also enjoy fresh fish that you catch yourself, you get to take home all the other fish you catch too.
