D. Frye injured
Danny Frye will not ride at Invercargill on Monday. The Loburn-based jockey suffered a fractured collarbone when the mount, Top Of The House, fell in the hurdle event at the Oamaru trials on Thursday. Frye does not expect the injury to keep him out of action for long. He hopes he will be fit enough to get a clearance to resume riding in time to compete in the Top Jockey Competition at the Canterbury Jockey Club’s May meeting at Riccarton on Wednesday week.
