Explosion outside Party’s office
NZPA-Reuter Bangkok
A home-made bomb exploded in front of the headquarters of the Democrat Party in Bangkok at the week-end, and the police found an unexploded second bomb near the head office of the Social Action Party. The police said that the first bomb damaged four rubbish bins but caused no casualties and no-one had claimed responsibility for the devices.
They said that the bombs were apparently intended to attack -the headquarters of the two parties which are main partners in the Prime Minister’s coalition Government.
The two parties recently threatened to leave the coalition.
