Lion lead only three
The senior cricket championship looks likely to produce a close finish, but so is the Lion player of the season competition. On Saturday, the top player, Bob Carter, of Sydenham, was out for only four runs but took two wickets and a catch, a total of 34 points. The second on the list, playing in the same match, was Graeme Kench, of Lancaster Park. He made a stumping, took a catch,
and scored 11, a total of 71, and he is now but three points behind Carter, with one day’s play left.
