Rogerson hopes for repeat double at Nelson

By

J. J. BOYLE

Claremont Wonder and Travolta, winners of ■ the T.A.B. double for Graeme Rogerson's stable on Nelson Cup day last year, will attempt to repeat those successes at Richmond tomorrow. Claremont Wonder is in a field of even quality for the Newmans Travel Nelson Cup, first leg of the Nelson Jockey Club’s T.A.B. double. But the second leg, the Ledger Goodman Memorial, does not offer the same wide range of fancies. The field has been weakened as a result of a fetlock injury received this week by the top weight, Peligro. As winner of two of his last four starts, Peligro appeared to be one of the brighter chances in a small field. u . u ■ in his absence, Travolta might be the favourite, with Latin Desire and Septimus also likely to carry solid North Island backing.
