Henri top chance at Wyndham

Special correspondent Invercargill Henri has everything going for him to. cap off a fine campaign ivith a deserved success in the Wyndham Cup Handicap, the first leg of the Wyndham TA.B. double tomorrow. The six-year-old has had only nine career starts, all of these this season, for the outstanding score of three wins, two second three thirds and a fourth. By any standards, that record takes some matching and makes him the logical choice for tomorrow’s testing metric two miler. Starline, an ultra consistent Armbro Del mare, makes strong appeal. She won at the Invercargill Christmas meeting and scored again on that course at the Invercargill meeting last month. She is an above average mare whose exertions have been nicely spaced out. Fleetfooi, winner of three of his last four starts, is an exciting Sir Dalrae three-year-old which faces a stiff

task here. His last two winning runs, however, have been good enough to suggest he can make an immediate impression in the higher grade. He has been astutely placed by Bud Baynes and should go from strength to strength. Abbey Knight, placed at her last three starts, Stoneybroke, winner of two of his last five starts, and impressive last start winner, Tick Tack, are others high on the list of fancies.
