The unaudited group net profit of Radio Otago, Ltd.fell 23.4 per cent to $23,917 in the year to November 30, the preliminary report released yesterday by the directors shows.
The profit was earned on revenue up 8.8 per cent to' $1,495,047.
The tax provision fell $5519 to $19,568. A recommended final divi-. dend of 1.25 c a share, of which .5c a share is tax-free, reduces the annual rate from 3.76 c a share to 2.5 c a share (10 per cent). The dividend* rate for the three years before 1982 was 20 per cent. ’ The final dividend is payable on April 28, ex dividend on April 19.
