GLENN TURNER S CENTURY OF CENTURIES by Ray Cairns & Glenn Turner On Saturday, 29 May 1982. at New Road. Worcester, Glenn Turner scored 311 not out for Worcestershire against Warwickshire. It was the first triple century in the English county championship since 1949. More significantly, it was the3s-year-old Turner’s hundredth first-class century, and he became only the nineteenth batsman in the history of the game to reach this epic milestone.
