Fire fund $181,550
PA Wellington The Government-initiated relief fund for victims of Australia’s bush fires topped $181,550 yesterday, four days after it was opened. The fund was started with a Government gift of $50,000. Since then $104,065 has been collected by the Bank of New Zealand and $27,493 by the National Bank.
