Groom’s gloom
A Peking man had to be rushed to hospital on his wedding night after his playful bride had “crowned” him with a metal spittoon, the Peking “Evening News” reported. The receptacle had been rammed down so hard that the rim caught under his chin and stuck fast. Even at the hospital, where he was taken covered in a blanket, doctors could not help the luckless groom. Finally a local electrician came to the rescue and removed the spittoon with a hacksaw. — Peking.
