No sign of yachtsman
PA Wellington An intensive sea and air search for an Auckland yachtsman who fell overboard on Thursday evening.

The search was called off by the Rescue Co-ordination Centre in Wellington earlier yesterday afternoon without finding the man, Phillip William Levy, aged 57. A police spokesman at Hastings, Senior-Sergeant B. J. White, said searches would continue on the shoreline north and south of Cape Turnagain Mr Levy, an experienced yachtsman, is the brother-in-law of the Minister of Transport, Mr Gain • Mr Gair delayed an official engagement yesterday because of the search for his brother-in-law. He delayed a visit to the Port of Tauranga for about an hour to get in touch with the organisers of the search for, Mr Levy. He then went to Tauranga for the visit, but returned to Auckland last evening.
