Deans to play for Glenmark

The Canterbury fullback. Robbie Deans, will play his club rugby in the country this year. Deans has played all his senior rugby for • Christchurch. but this season he will turn out for the champion North Canterbury club. Glenmark. Deans will complete his studies at Teachers' College early in May, and he has decided to make the change because he intends returning permanently to his family’s farm near Cheviot. The loss of Deans, who has been a prolific scorer for the Christchurch club, is a second blow for its new senior coach, Theo Bunker. Mr Bunker has also lost the other Canterbury representative, Craig Green, from last season’s C.S.B. Cup-winning side. Green has returned to Lincoln College after a year of absence and will resume his association with the college's senior side.
