Car of the year
West Germany's Audi 100 GL SE has been chosen from 44 cars by a panel of 53 motoring writers in 21 countries as the 1983 World Car of the Year.
Motor Magazine of Japan. Ltd. sponsor of the contest, said that the Audi was first, followed by the Ford Sierra 2.3-litre V 6 and the. Citroen BX 1600.
