QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: A detailed working knowledge of NDT techniques above and below water is essential. The successful candidate should be in the 30-40 age group and hold a diving certificate for at least air diving and be prepared to carry out diving work if necessary. At least 5 years work experience in commercial inspection, and 1-3 years of commercial diving experience, is preferred. The successful candidate should also be fully familiar with computerised record systems and be able to operate a computer. Employment would be on a contract basis, initially for a 12 month period. The successful candidate will be based in New Plymouth, and assistance will be given with re-location expenses.
