Dog, woman, killed
PA Auckland A woman who rushed to the side of her dying dog on Thursday evening was struck by another vehicle and died five hours later in Auckland Hospital, she was Pamela Joan Bhaskaran, aged 28. of Taniwha Street, Glen Innes. Mrs
Bhaskaran lived with her two young sons. The police said that Mrs Bhaskaran's small dog ran out on .to the road near her home about 11.30 p.m. and was hit by a passing car. Mrs Bhaskaran ran to its side and during the several minutes she was with the pet. she was struck by another vehicle.
