$100,000 aim of I.H.C.
A target of $lOO,OOO has been set by the Canterbury branch of the Society for the Intellectually Handicapped for its annual door-to-door collection to be held on Monday evening. The collection will be part of the society’s effort to raise the $250,000 needed to run its family homes, workshops, and other services this year. The society has also run a raffle, and sold matches to the public, according' to a spokesman for the Christchurch branch, Mr R. Scott.
Last year's collection brought in $BO,OOO.
