39 workers lose jobs
PA Wellington Thirty-nine workers at the A.H.I. Plastic Film Company in the Hutt Valley were told by their management yesterday morning that the plant would close.
The plant employs 53 but jobs for 14 have been found in A.H.I. Plastic Moulding Company or in a warehouse which shares the same building. The Plastic Film Company makes plastic rubbish bags and a wide range of packaging for bread and other food products.
