Disabled assembly idea
The formation of a national assembly, to represent disabled persons, will be discussed at a special meeting on Saturday, organised
by the Christchurch Co-ordi-nating Council for the Handicapped. The meeting will be held in the Crippled Children - Society rooms in Kilmarnock Street, at 10 a.m. Disabled persons and representatives of support organisations have been invited to attend.
The proposed assembly would comprise disabled persons as individuals and two representatives of each local and national organisation that serves.the disabled.
