No new powers for trustee companies?
Parliamentary reporter Trustee companies will not get any further powers to carry out additional business for the trusts and estates they administer. No change has been recommended by the Property Law and Equity Reform Committee to the Minister of Justice, Mr McLay. The Trustee Companies’ Association had asked that trustee companies bp al-
lowed to benefit from business transactions and the receipt of commissions gained in the normal course of business.
