A revised S.M.P. support package may jie ready by Budget time this year.
It seemed likely that amendments would be made to meet difficulties that had arisen in practice, said the Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon, yesterday. However, any final decision depended on the kind of response from Federated Farmers and producer boards. It was not the size of payments that was under review but the concept of S.M.P.s, he said.
