Armit wraps up title
PA Auckland Leith Armit. of Mairangi Bay. yesterday won the national OK yachting championships at Takapuna — a day before the final race. Clinching his sixth consecutive win in the sevenheat series yesterday he had
already wrapped up the title and does not even have to sail today. Armit,' the former world junior champion, finished yesterday’s race with a 2m lead over the junior champion. Greg Knowles, of Auckland. Paul Bamford, of Christchurch, was third.
