African tour
A Central Otago farm consultant, Mr John Ford, is organising a tour for farmers, consultants and agricultural scientists to Africa in June and July. The tour has been timed to coincide with the Fifth International Congress on Farm Management being held in Nairobi. Kenya. This conference, which is held in a different country tri-annu-ally, usually has delegates from more than 50 countries and farmers have been strongly represented at past conferences. The tour will also look at group farming in Australia and visit Mauritius and Singapore. Further information can be obtained from Mr Ford, of Alexandra, or J. E. Watson and Co.. Ltd. Invercargill.
