Little change in jobless?
PA Wellington Any movement in the number of unemployed this year was likely to be slight, said the Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon, yesterday. “The general feeling is that it will be a little rise in the early part and down in the second part," he said. The Government caucus yesterday had looked at the way in which employmentpromotion schemes were working and at possibleareas where they could be improved.
It also discussed the availability of work for the schemes, Mr Muldoon said. The result of these talks would be discussed in the Cabinet.
