Chris Campbell, of Spencer Park, celebrated his first selection in the Canterbury team with a winning performance in the beach flags at the Fresh Up South Island surf lifesaving championships at Warrington beach on Sunday. Campbell, shown out-diving Mike Gale (Waikuku Beach) for the final “flag,” has now won provincial representation and national championship success in both surf lifesaving and water polo.
