Brierley recovers 7c
Share prices were firmer to busy trading on New Zealand stock exchanges yesterday. Chenery Holdings rose 35c to 240 c in response to Chase Corporation seeking a 24.9 per cent interest in the coinpam at that prue. Chase gained a further 10c to 200 c. Brierley recovered 7c of Tuesday s 8c loss. Market leaders among the 15 falls included Dalgety New Zealand. National Insurance. Wattie. and Yates Corporation. The mining and oil sector was mixed, with two rises and two falls. The N.Z.I .C. industrial index rose 4.93 points to 684.57.
