Hinges and Handles for Kitchen Units
A piano (continuous) hinge is ideal for a cupboard door which closes into the frame, especially if made of chipboard, which does not provide a very good 'hold' for screws.
For older-type cupboard doors with rebated edge, a cranked hinge is suitable. Other types screw to the inside of the door and are called concealed or semi-concealed cabinet hinges.
Fully-concealed lay-on hinge for use with face-fitting or 'lay-on' doors; Intricate lever system allows door to open without projecting beyond cupboard side. Full width is available for any drawers fitted inside cupboard.
Pivot hinges, for lay-on doors allow 180-deg. opening. Type ID come in pairs, for top and bottom. Type (2). for intermediate fitting are left- or righthanded. and need saw-cut in door edge.
Aluminium drawer-puli sections. Suitable for all types of door drawer, (D is fixed with screws from inside. For facefitting doors drawers. (2! has serrated tongue which fits tightly m sawn groove. !L5
