Restrictions on youth aid
Tighter restrictions are being made on financial aid from the Youth Services Distribution Committee of the New Zealand Lottery Board. The committee chairman. Mr Murray Shaw, said that priority would be given to bicultural groups, young people living in areas where employment was difficult to find, and to schemes promoting work skills and leader-, ship.
He said the committee had had applications with a total value of $5 million for consideration but had only $500,000 for allocation.
