Incest charges admitted
Nelson reporter The father of two children admitted in the - District Court at Nelson yesterday to having committed incest with them both. The man. whose name was suppressed in the interim, was remanded to February 22 for a probation officer's
report and sentence. He was granted $lOOO bail and a surety of $lOOO. Judge Headifen also suppressed the names of the children. INDECENCY CHARGES The grandfather of two children admitted to having induced them to do indecent
acts on him. The Judge granted the interim suppression of the man's name after he had pleaded guilty to a charge in respect of each girl. He remanded him for a probation officer's report to February 22, allowing him bail of $BOO and a surety of $BOO.
