Lacemaking skills
The art of lacemaking will be taught in Christchurch later this month by Mrs Janet McCraw of Le Bons Bay. The bobbin lace classes will begin on February 21 at the Embroiderers' Guild, room Al2 in the Arts Centre. They will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Mrs McCraw studied lacemaking at the Royal School of Needlework. London. for two terms, and then at the Reigate School for four years. Further information is available from Mrs Helen Halliwell on telephone 515395.
