Dogs on beaches
Sir,—l wonder if the many correspondents who write letters complaining about dogs on beaches have ever thought of complaining abdut the human louts who litter the beaches with broken beer bottles, cans, and human excreta. Surely this is more important than dogs’ droppings, although I agree this is not very nice. For myself, I would not take my dog on the beach as I do not wish to see his paws cut by broken bottles. — Yours, etc., M. HOCKLEY. January 28, 1983.
