NZPA Los Angeles The former lightweight and welterweight champion. Roberto Duran, of Panama, stopped Jose "Pipino” Cuevas, of Mexico, with 36 seconds left in the fourth round of a scheduled 12round fight at the week-end. Duran knocked Cuevas down twice in the fourth round ajid the referee stepped in to halt the bout.
