Petrocorp drilling
PA Wellington Petrocorp (Exploration) reports that its Stratford -1 well is drilling at 4754 m after casing had been set to 4711 m. The seismic survey, comprising some' 300 kg of recording on ppi 38116, in the south Taranaki Bight, was completed on January 19. This licence is operated by Petrocorp (Exploration) in joint venture with Aiiroa Petroleum, New Zealand Oil and Gas, Ltd, and Sulpetro of Canada.
