PA Dunedin The Otago Harbour Board has awarded a $2.8 million contract for. a split hopper dredging barge to a local company after its initial bid to acquire a small suction dredge was refused by the New Zealand Ports Authority. The Port Chalmers-based shipbuilding firm, Sims En-
gineering, Ltd, will build the barge, which will cost $3.3 million once fully equipped.
