Calendars offend
The Indonesian Internal Security Agency has ordered the destruction of 95,000 calendars carrying a photo of a model wearing a hammer-and-sickle T-shirt, the security chief, Admiral Sudomo, says. The calendar, with the offending Communist symbol clearly visible, was issued by an Indonesian company for promotional purposes for distribution to its agents. Some 5000 out of the 100,000 copies printed were already distributed to agents, who were ordered to try to . retrieve them for handing over to the nearest police station—Jakarta.
