Gas blast
NZPA Newark
An explosion rocked a liquid gas storage plant in Newark, New Jersey, yesterday sending flames shooting hundreds of feet high. The police said that one person was killed and another injured, according to preliminary reports. At least two storage tanks were affected by the explosion. the police said. The plant belongs to the Texaco Oil Company.
