Snake record
A South African is attempting to beat his own record for staying shut in a glass cage with poisonous snakes for 52 days. Austin Stevens, the owner of a Transvaal reptile zoo, has shared the cage with 24 snakes including vipers, cobras and black mambas for seven days. The venom of the black mamba kills in minutes and has no known antidote. — Johannesburg.
