MANAGER \ Meat Smallgoods Manufacturer Salary to $25,000 Christchurch An autonomous subsidiary company of a large organisation has asked that we assist in the appointment of a Manager to control and direct the production and marketing activities of the company, with full responsibility for profit. The company employs approximately 40 staff, and currently has a turnover of around $3 million annually. Essential requirements for the position include sound manmanagement experience in a production environment; a good appreciation of costing and pricing concepts; and the ability to interpret market demand accurately in deciding on production schedules. Although the emphasis is on production management, the supervision of a small sales staff is also required. Appropriate experience in bacon and ham curing and smallgoods manufacture is a preferred, although not an essential, prerequisite.
