Scout regatta starts today
PA Auckland The nineteenth national scout regatta will start today with 1200 scouts at Te Haruhi Bay, on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula. ; It will.be officially opened by the. Prime Minister, Mr Muldoon, at 4'p.m. tomorrow, and will continue until Tuesday, January IL • The regatta will feature rowing, sailing, swimming, life-saving, camping, and seamanship competitions between sea scdut troops and venturer scout units.
