Parliamentary reporter The member of Parliament for Southern Maori, Mrs Whetu Tirikatene-Sulli-van, will not be back at work until January. Mrs Tirikatene-Sullivan has been absent from nearly all of this year’s session of Parliament after she was injured in a car accident near Christchurch in May.
