Accidental shooting
A North Canterbury man died after accidentally shooting himself about 6.30 p.m. yesterday. He was Arthur William Cade, aged 60. of Reeses Road, Omihi. Mr Cade had been shooting opossums near his home when he accidentally shot himself in the chest, the police said.
