Apprentice suspended
PA Dunedin Jimmy Curran, the Invercargill apprentice, was suspended for careless riding at the Tapanui Racing Clubs meeting on Saturday. The Judicial Committee stood Curran down from riding next Saturday for causing a check to Double Story about 150 m after the start of the Second Heriot Maiden. Curran rode Gwynalla.
