Mrs Pat Leopold and Messrs Ross Purves and Jim Martin, decided to add Skjellerup to the elite group after he had beaten the Canterbury champion. Brett Hibbert. 6-4. 7-6. in the latest round of ranking matches at Wilding Park Admittedly. Hibbert is going through a lean patch, hut Skjellerup's win followed closely on other notable successes against Hugh Robinson and Vernon Aubrey. both members of the current Canterbury squad Results of the ranking matches were Men.-Skjellerup beat Hibbert. 6- 7-6.
