Town Hall fun
The Christchurch Town Hall has an active and interesting programme for the whole family during the Christmas period. Father Christmas will be there from December 20 to 24, between midday and 2 p.m. A photographer will be there to take pictures of anyone on Santa’s knee; with the Town Hall’s magnificent Christmas-tree in the back-
ground. This holiday period also provides a chance for people to take part in a programme of cultural activities. Every Friday, between noon and 2 p.m., and 6.30 to 8.30 p.m., from January 21 to March 4, groups will provide entertainment and give you the chance to participate in some of their activities. The action will include jazz, pipe and brass bands, dance and drama groups, folk and country music clubs — all performing in a natural, attractive outdoor setting.
