Japan’s exports fall
PA Tokyo Japan’s vehicle exports fell 4.6 per cent in October, to 44,500 from 471,200 a year earlier, the fifteenth consecutive year-on-year monthly fall, the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association said. The October total, which
comprises 298,900 cars, 147,000 trucks and 3600 buses, was also down 3 per cent, from 463,400 in September. Japan’s motor-cycle exports in October totalled 330,800, down 7.7 per cent from 358,400 a year earlier, but up 10.8 per cent from 298,600 in September, it said.
