All prices are in kilograms unless otherwise; stated. Prices have been taken from shops in northern Christchurch. Retail prices surveyed yesterday do not necessarily reflect the prices at the markets because many shopowners will have bought produce earlier in the week and paid higher or lower prices. Artichokes, 79c each. 'Asparagus, $5.20. Broccoli, $1.99 to $3.39. Beans, $4.99 to $6.90. Bean sprouts, 99c a bag. Cabbages, 89c to $1.32 each.

Onions, 59c to 89c. Peas, $3.99. Parsnips, $2.89. New potatoes, 60c to $1.49. Potatoes, 69c to 70c. Pumpkins, $1.45 to $1.59. Rhubarb, 49c a bunch. Parsley, 29c a bunch. Radishes, 55c to 69c a bunch. Spring onions, 69c to 79c a bunch.
